CA have had plenty of warning about letting in reds and ratting/mining in our space. There have been continuing issues with them for the past -six months-, starting when they let in -V- members, who promptly moved most of their crap out of our stations in Scalding Pass.

I don't doubt CA is/was rubbish and a worthless ally, in fact I'm sure they are judging by their member corps. HOWEVER, when bob booted xelas everyone on your side had a lot to say about bob betraying them and all. I'm just saying it looks like a double standard is all.

CA was set to red because they continually violated our space to rat and mine after specifically agreeing not to, have let in enemies (-V- members and T'ang corp), and now want to fly with our enemies and shoot at our allies, all while remaining blue to us and retaining docking access to our stations.

Their failure to contribute significantly in the war over the past few months is a reason they are disliked by many goons (including myself), but not one of the ones they're being set red for.

To further draw a distinction between CA and Xelas alliance, Xelas paid BoB for the space they lived in. CA did not pay anything (and nor should they have; the pet system is stupid).

I am suprised that a CA member would voluntarily compare themselves to Xelas; Xelas was a joke of an 0.0 alliance. The only one that's more of a joke is RISE, which is evacuating essentially just because of 200 goons in recons and cloaked ships rather than any actual capital sieges.

Orangir, I suggest you take a look at the thread in space gbs. As soon as news got round about the standings reset, not an hour later, there was a big gang formed to go kill some CA. I've never seen that happen with anyone else we suddenly set red before.

There is a LOT of hatred for CA in Goonswarm right now.
